"And what if I could close my eyes and never open them for this world ever again, but for another? One in which friends are never really friends, but conscience beings that share the same principals and feelings as you. No more back-talking , no more entwined relationships and disappointments… no more lust for simplicity. And what if another step would be taken down the same old road of the same old path and with the same never changing trees, dropping painted leaves from above? If the air had that particular scent, may it be the season of the fall or marely the simple smell of sincere happiness swept away by a breeze… If we could get on a train only for the journey, no matter the destination, only that it would be our own to plan.
These far too simple things are just glimpses of innocent wishes to be joyful, happy… at peace… whatever the word, the ideal remaining the same. Though desiring something is what powers your mind and spirit to keep on going, why must all simple wishes be unachievable? And in that dream of mine, I gazed the future in its pearlescent colors and as I stretched my arm I found it crossing paths with another, so that they would bare the hardship of this world together. One I would like to hold on to until the end of time, whether or not I am physically next to it. But as the hours slipped away and dawn came, awakened, I found myself reaching out in vain, for in the end there are far too few words to make it all real… far too few letters to be painted on sheets of paper, a reason more for some to try and speak them… or rime them… for some to sing them… others to try and draw them….
